The brief

Tabby is an AI accountant for small businesses and the self-employed. The team had finished designs in Figma and a tight deadline. They needed a marketing site that could launch in weeks and carry far more than pages: a tax calculator, a help center, payments and analytics.

What I built

  • The full site from the Figma designs, responsive on every screen size
  • A custom tax calculator with dynamic logic
  • Custom plugins for the AI demos and dynamic content
  • WooCommerce with subscription payments
  • A help center, blog and product updates on one content structure
  • CRM, Mixpanel and Crisp Chat integrations
  • Security audits and vulnerability patching

The 2.0 launch

When Tabby released version 2.0, I built the entire new website. The condition was simple: the new site had to keep the search visibility the old one had earned.

The result

  • Launched on schedule
  • Core Web Vitals above 90
  • I still maintain and update the site today

How the Figma to WordPress build was done

  • Every page was built from the Figma file as drawn, then checked at phone, tablet and desktop widths
  • Features that are specific to Tabby were written as plugins instead of being forced out of general ones: the tax calculator and the AI demos
  • Content the team updates often (help articles, blog posts, product updates) shares one structure, so adding a page does not need a developer
  • Search settings from the old site were carried into the new one before the 2.0 switch, so pages kept their addresses and titles

Inside the site, 11 October 2026

Read from the live site, page by page, and from Google PageSpeed Insights (mobile).

Size. 302 pages in the sitemap:

  • 164 blog articles
  • 36 help center documents
  • 26 pages of free financial tools
  • 25 pages under the 1099 tax calculator
  • 11 solution pages, one per kind of customer
  • 5 product pages

What the pages do.

  • The 1099 tax calculator is a working form for income and deductions, not a static page
  • A pricing page, a page written for accountants, a comparison page and a security page
  • A public roadmap, user reviews, events, a partner program and an affiliate program

How it is built.

  • WordPress with Elementor, on the Hello Elementor base theme
  • Rank Math for search, WP Rocket as the one caching layer
  • BetterDocs for the help center, Fluent Forms for forms, The Events Calendar for events

What search engines see.

  • SEO score 100, accessibility 96 and best practices 96 in PageSpeed Insights
  • Structured data for the organisation, the website, the software product, its offer and its reviews
  • Every one of the 39 images on the home page has alt text

Common questions

What does a Figma to WordPress build involve?

A Figma to WordPress build turns finished designs into a working site: a theme that matches the design at every screen size, the features the design implies, and an editing experience the team can use. For Tabby that meant the pages, a tax calculator, subscriptions, a help center and analytics.

How long does Figma to WordPress take?

It depends on the number of unique page designs and custom features. Tabby had a tight deadline measured in weeks, with a calculator, payments and a help center, and it launched on schedule. A small marketing site with no custom features takes far less.

Can a redesign keep its Google rankings?

Yes, if the move is planned. For the Tabby 2.0 relaunch the page addresses, titles and descriptions that were already ranking were carried into the new site, so search engines saw the same pages with a new design instead of a new site.

Who maintains the site after it launches?

I do. I built Tabby's site and I still maintain and update it, including security checks and vulnerability patching.
